Accutech Engineering Inc. is proud to announce the establishment of two new scholarships for Nunavummiut enrolled in engineering related fields at the Red River College and at the University of Manitoba.
Working in the Territory of Nunavut has been an extremely rewarding experience for Accutech and as a company we are happy to be able to give back to the communities in which we have worked.
Accutech believes that fostering the development of homegrown STEM professionals is essential for the continued development of the Territory of Nunavut. As such, each award is focused on supporting students that are pursuing post-secondary education in engineering related fields. Each scholarships is open to all Nunavummiut in engineering and engineering related programs, however preference is given to students in their first year of studies. The intent is to assist new students with alleviating the burden of having to travelling from their home community to Winnipeg in order to pursue their education.
